  • Opened first Early Literacy Center in FBISD
  • Opened first in Texas Early Intervention Center, inclusive pre-school for students with and without disabilities
  • Started Early College High School, P-Tech programs in computer science and health science, and new CTE programs to provide student choice and additional post-secondary opportunities
  • Served on Vision & Planning committee, developed Profile of a Graduate and District Goals
  • Served on Audit committee, audited curriculum, GT and special education programs, among others
  • Started Equity Committee and Equity Audit to ensure equitable curriculum and learning opportunities at all campuses

  • Implementation of the innovative EDGE program at two campuses
  • Implementation of Co-teach classes at all FBISD schools
  • Expanding literacy programs to help more struggling students
  • Building of a new Career & Technology Education Center
  • Expansion of curriculum endorsements and pathways at many high schools, including Marshall and Willowridge
  • Creation of a Board Construction & Facilities Committee to work with administration in ensuring campus maintenance and facilities needs are addressed
